Have you ever looked at a photograph and wondered what the person in the photograph was thinking or even feel like you are right there in the picture? This is what I try to accomplish every time I stand behind the camera..to capture the real and translate it into a photograph. I am a non- traditional, non- studio photographer that reaches for the candid and photo-journalistic approach to photography. However, with some photographs, posing is necessary. My name is Hoai-Huong and my passion is to capture life from the beginning and beyond. I see the moments and the 'little' gestures..I see the beauty in what is sometimes not noticed..I see the emotion that cannot be expressed with words..and I use my camera as a tool to capture it all. *****I enjoy asymmetry in my photographs; meaning nothing is ever perfectly centered or balanced. I feel that this adds to the uniqueness of the picture. There are also times when there are areas that may be more blurred than others. This is called selective focus.
